Checking your imported menu

Reading a menu can go wrong, so look over what we found before you check allergens.

What to look for

  • A missing dish. Press "+ Add dishes" on Dishes to create it. Then open the menu, press "+ Add dishes", tick the dish and choose its section. If we couldn't read a page or section, we list it at the top of "Here's what we found".
  • Two dishes merged into one. Open the dish and correct its name and description. Then create the other dish as above.
  • A dish in the wrong section. Before you add your dishes, drag it by its handle or use "Move to". Afterwards, open the menu, press "Reorder" and use "Move to".
  • A wrong name. Open the dish and change the name. You can rename a section with "Rename" under "Section options".
  • A dish you don't serve. Press "Delete draft" on the dish. To take a dish off one menu only, use "Reorder" and then "Remove from menu".

Uploading again

Press "Import another menu" on Imports. A second upload only adds. It never replaces or removes anything you already have.

  • Choose "A new menu" or add to one of yours. Each section you tick is added as a new section, so untick the ones you don't need.
  • A dish with the same name as one you have can use the existing dish. We never change a dish you've confirmed.
  • A dish already on that menu isn't added twice.

Nothing reaches your guests until someone checks all 14 allergens for the dish and presses "I've checked all 14".
